This year, I have a lot to be thankful for. I'm a lucky, blessed woman.
For which I'm thankful:
1. Steve. The best husband I could ever dream of, better than I deserve. I love him more than I ever thought possible.
2. Matty. I hadn't planned on having a kid, but now I can't think of not having him in my life. It's so amazing to watch him grow and develop. My heart sings every time he smiles.
3. Steve's job. It pays him enough that I can stay at home with our kid, lets him come home early on the days I have classes, and he's gaining lots of experience and knowledge. He's also getting a raise in December and a promotion and bigger raise the end of January! Huzzah!
4. Family. My family rocks! I love whenever I get to see them and am grateful they live close enough that I get to see someone in my family every month or more. I also love my in-laws and which we could see them more. I've never met most of Steve's family but hope to soon.
5. Friends. Steve has the most amazing friends and they are like family to us. They accepted me and welcomed me into their circle from the start and I've always felt comfortable with them. I also have amazing friends and cherish the times I get to see them, which is not often enough!
6. My Faith. I believe in God and in His son Jesus Christ. I know they love me and are mindful of me. I believe that families can be together forever. My faith brings me joy and peace.
7. Sadie Lou. She's such a good dog. She has had to put up with some big changes in our household and has done so remarkably well. She's been very patient. She's slowly getting interested in Matty and will sometimes sniff his head and then give him a quick kiss. She's definitely more needy but hasn't acted jealous. She's a good dog.
8. Health. Mine. Steve's, and Matty's.
Matty's crying. I guess this is a good place to stop. :)
Happy Thanksgiving!
